| Carnegie Hall, a performing arts venue that holds a multitude of world-class events every year, turned to JCA for their support in creating a more functional fundraising and ticketing software. JCA produced customized middleware that assists the development and MIS staff in sharing and synchronizing data. While integrating the new software, JCA trained the staff to use the middleware in the most effective manner. Read on to learn more:
JCA worked closely with Carnegie Hall's development and MIS staffs to integrate their fundraising and ticketing systems. The goal was to foster an increased level of patron servicing by providing and synchronizing common data across the fundraising and ticketing systems. This integration allows Carnegie Hall to target certain groups of ticket buyers for fund raising appeals.
Carnegie Hall’s website, powered by Tickets.com, was able to share data with the new PASS/2 ticketing system. Carnegie Hall hired JCA to complete the loop by integrating with its Enterprise C/S fundraising database from Access International. A JCA project team built a bi-directional middleware layer that synchronized data between PASS/2 and Enterprise C/S on a daily basis.
This software allows for the creation of new accounts anywhere in the process: on the web, in PASS/2 or in Enterprise C/S. Given the potential for creating duplicate accounts it also provides users with robust functionality for merging account automatically in both systems, with no loss of data. By seamlessly providing the fundraising staff with ticketing data and the Box Office with fundraising data, Carnegie Hall can easily offer its patrons the most relevant and effective customer service possible.
In addition to supplying functional middleware, JCA provided database training and ongoing support to help the Carnegie Hall staff implement the new software. Read on to see what Carnegie Hall has to say about working with JCA:
"JCA has been supporting our fundraising system for the past five years. Their thorough knowledge of both the software and fundraising concepts is unique among consultants. In their customized training approach, they utilized our own codes and our own donor base, making the training sessions extremely relevant and consequently very successful. And now, as we're implementing a new fundraising system, JCA is programming our conversion and integrating this new system with our existing ticketing system. They continue to be a pleasure to work with."
