| Stamford Health Foundation (SHF) is a philanthropic organization focused on decreasing the cost of healthcare services. After acquiring three other organizations, SHF faced a common problem. The gift and donor information needed to be consolidated from four databases to one, making it difficult to access the history of a gift or donor. They called on JCA to analyze and cleanup codes from the different database systems.
After JCA's data conversion to Raiser's Edge®, SHF is now able to easily access donor histories to conduct annual campaigns and other development activities. Read on to see what Stamford Health Foundation has to say about how JCA helped with database management:
"When our health system acquired three other institutions, we faced the ominous task of combining data from four disparate systems into one master database. JCA worked with us to standardize our coding structure. They then merged the databases together, ‘de-duping’ thousands of donors, deleting obsolete codes, combining gift histories and converting everything to Raiser’s Edge®. We couldn’t even begin to envision doing this consolidation and cleanup without them."
