| As an international organization committed to fighting for the end of world hunger, the Hunger Project needed to share a centralized database among their worldwide development staff. Using web-enabled applications, their international staff is now able to access their fundraising database to view donor demographics, giving history and prospect relationships.
The first step was to upgrade their fund raising software from Pledgemaker DOS to the Windows version. JCA assisted them by updating a number of SQL scripts, reports and interface programs to maintain the link between their web site and Pledgemaker for Windows. We utilized our expertise with Microsoft Active Server Pages and Oracle, as well as third party utilities, to achieve this. We continue to work with the Hunger Project by providing Oracle support, updating customized reports and consulting on database issues.
