John Jakovich, MCAD

Director of Programming

John started his engineering career in the dynamic San Diego internet start-up market of the mid nineties.  John worked at several successful start-ups in the e-commence and artificial intelligence industries and eventually landed at Kintera, Inc. There he helped design and program Kintera's sophisticated payment processing systems, which processed thousands of transactions daily. Later, John became Manager of Data Integration Services where he oversaw integration projects for numerous clients, including UNICEF USA and The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW).  John left Kintera after their initial public offering to design and program web services for MediaMax, the world's largest online media center. The web services he engineered exposed terabytes of media data to clients including the Discover Channel and The Learning Channel. 

John joined JCA in 2006.  He is responsible for managing data migrations, integrations and the growing family of JCA software products.  He studied Computer Science and Information Systems at CSU San Marcos and is a Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD).  In his spare time, John enjoys running, hiking and programming mashups from internet APIs.
