Wycliffe Bible Translators

Wycliffe USA is one of over 70 affiliated Wycliffe organizations around the world that are assisting the Church in making disciples of all nations through Bible translation, focusing on community development, literacy and church partnership.

Wycliffe replaced their legacy fundraising system with The Raiser's Edge®. When the project was delayed several times and their internal staff needed help bringing it to completion, they called JCA.

We stepped in to assist with go-live planning, creating interfaces to their receipting and financial systems, and offering best practice advice and support for the gift processing group. Subsequently, we began working on a plan to incorporate the 'people raising' components of Wycliffe's missionary recruitment efforts into The Raiser's Edge®. We designed a system that eliminated Wycliffe's separate recruitment prospect database and multiple tracking sheets formerly managed by hand and kept in Lotus Notes databases. We built the mechanisms used to update their website with active projects and to import online event registrations into The Raiser's Edge®.

Thanks to JCA, Wycliffe now has the ability to view its entire constituent base in a single location. Senior management can track the reults more easily from their integrated financial, website and fundraising systems.
