Consultant – Arts & Culture

Job Description

JCA has an immediate opening for a Consultant to work on consulting and implementation projects for ticketing and fundraising systems at Performing Arts venues, Museums, Zoos and Aquariums.  This individual will assist with, and eventually manage, projects related to ticketing, fundraising, membership and marketing databases.  The Consultant must have both the functional understanding of ticketing and fundraising as well as the technical skills to implement systems solutions.  Relevant professional experience at a Performing Arts venue, Museum, Science Center, Zoo or Aquarium is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of fundraising/membership/ticketing systems experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Tessitura is preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Raiser’s Edge is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to assume additional responsibilities
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Web
  • SQL knowledge including queries, procedures and reporting is strongly preferred
