Senior Network Engineer

Position Summary

JCA has an immediate opening in our New York City office for a Senior Network Engineer.

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for managing client accounts and promoting highest levels of user experience, with a focus on mission critical software for JCA and our clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: deploying and maintaining Windows based networks through our IT Network management software, managing virtual technology, executing IT implementation projects, SQL database support, and researching new technologies.

Position Requirements

Applicant must have experience creating and maintaining Windows 2008 Active Directory domains, MS Exchange 2007/2010, firewall security appliances, and industry standard anti-virus and backup packages.  Familiarity with N-Able N-Central tools is extremely beneficial.

As we are a consulting firm, applicant must be able to effectively communicate with clientele that may have limited understanding of the technology involved. Excellent troubleshooting skills are an absolute necessity.

Qualifications 

• 3 to 5+ year's experience
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Microsoft Certification strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated intiative and ability to assume additional responsibilities
• Knowledge of Mac
• Excellent troublshooting skills required
