Kirk Mortensen

Product Specialist

Kirk Mortensen brings a wealth of experience in the arts and theatre space to his work at JCA. As Product Specialist, he focuses his work on JCA’s software products and solutions. He supports T-Stats, RMA, Dashboards, and other Tessitura-related products for arts and cultural organizations.

Before joining JCA, Kirk spent several years at TheatreWorks, a major regional theatre in Palo Alto, CA. During his time at TheatreWorks, Kirk held a variety of roles including DBA for The Raiser’s Edge, Fundraiser, Project Manager on a complete website re-design including Tessitura e-commerce integration, Tessitura implementation project co-manager, and Tessitura Administrator.

Kirk holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Drama from Colorado College, where his concentration was Creative Writing. He was the Assistant Director for two main-stage productions at TheatreWorks: The Clean House and Auctioning the Ainsleys. Kirk has also acted as Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner for the Coyote Creek District of Boy Scouts of America and the Admin & Finance Co-Chair for the 2011 Tessitura Conference.
