The difference between “installation” and successful “implementation” is comprehensive training and project management. Once new software and hardware are in place, the users must be trained in a manner that will ensure successful implementation.

JCA offers comprehensive, personalized training packages to reflect the way the institution will be using the database, to meet the real needs of the users. Rather than offering “canned” training, JCA will work with designated staff to make sure they are comfortable with the new system and understand how to use it on a daily basis. JCA will review codes, reports and procedures with the users, to ensure a successful implementation. JCA is available to advise and provide documentation (Operations manual) defining policies and procedures to be enforced. The creation of standardized usage rules will also help to maintain system-wide integrity.
