Where do you work? Where are you from?

I work from a home office in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, a city in Northern Mexico. I grew up and have lived in Monterrey all my life since it is one of the cities with the highest growth and job opportunities.

What do you do at JCA?

I am a Technical Support Engineer. I work on data analysis projects, application programming, supporting clients on issues resolution and multiple maintenance and improve of coding tasks.

What is your background? What brought you to JCA?

I have a degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico, which allows me to work building Web Applications oriented to Talent Acquisition and Psychometric tests through the innovation and implementation of technology for the PSW Global Company. This was my first job after college.

After 5 years I was hired as a Web Engineer for DefinityFirst, where I enhanced my skills with several technologies. I worked and collaborated on building new websites using MVC architecture with Umbraco CMS, WordPress (PHP), CMS hosted in Go Daddy, and Windows Azure, also providing support and maintenance for customer’s website located in the US, using Ektron CMS, ASP .NET, and hosted in Windows Azure.

I was hired as a Technical Support Engineer for JCA on July 2022.

What do you do outside of JCA?

I enjoy spending time with my family and my girlfriend since we live in different municipality, so I visit them every weekend. I really enjoy watching movies and series, attending music festivals with my friends, playing soccer, playing videogames. I like to go for walks and traveling to markets to buy vintage toys. I also used to collect sneakers, but I stopped doing it since it is a very expensive hobby.
