Rock Star of the Month (March 2017) – Keturah Hammond
STEVE JACOBSON ANNOUNCES THIS MONTH’S ROCK STAR
So, it’s March and many of us are experiencing a huge winter storm with snow accumulation of up to a couple of feet. Yes, feet. Isn’t spring supposed to be around the corner? Old Man Winter just won’t give up—just like our March 2017 JCA Rock Star, Keturah Hammond.
Keturah started with JCA in October of 2015 as Product Manager for our Adapter products. She immediately tackled the task of learning a variety of source fundraising and ticketing systems with which she wasn’t previously familiar. Over the past 17 months, she’s shown incredible attention to detail working with the entire set of JCA Adapter products—no two of which are alike—and mastering the processes of product management.
Through JCA’s annual Jake Awards, she has already received recognition for “diving into our adapter business, and being independent and accountable for the product line in a ridiculously short amount of time.” But, for this Rock Star award I want to acknowledge her incredible client project work.
On a recent integration, Keturah navigated working with a somewhat unfamiliar software and consultancies to guide the project through to completion. When unforeseen delays arose and the project expanded in scope, she remained in close communication with all the involved parties to provide explanations and keep everything on track. Keturah kept the JCA team working efficiently as the project and its priorities changed over time.
Client satisfaction with her work is clear. Keturah’s skills in managing relationships, and keeping clients happy with JCA’s work while projects flex and change, make her a real Rock Star. She takes time to understand our clients’ needs, communicate clearly, and keep everybody focused on the goal.
Keturah, you are truly a Rock Star!
