Rock Star of the Month (October 2017) – Jennifer Sowinski

Today is the fourth Tuesday in late October and that can only mean one thing-it’s time to announce the October 2017 JCA Rock Star! I bet you were all thinking that I was going to say it’s time for America’s Fall Classic, the World Series. Well, it’s true that the Series starts tonight, with the Los Angeles Dodgers taking on the Houston Astros. You may be rooting for the Dodgers, who haven’t been to the World Series since 1988 or you may be rooting for the Astros, given what they mean to their home city, which is still struggling to get on its feet again. No matter which team you are rooting for, I’m sure that we are all rooting for our October 2017 JCA Rock Star, Jennifer Sowinski. Congrats, Jennifer!!

Jennifer Sowinski has been with the JCA Arts Marketing for a little over 3 months. But her analysis skills, presentation capabilities, work ethic, and can-do attitude is more reflective of someone who has been at JCA for a number of years.

Jennifer has worked on two projects since she came to JCA. For both projects, Jennifer created the client deliverables from scratch: conducting data manipulation and analysis, creating a large PowerPoint deck, and delivering most of the presentation to the client and the project funder.  In front of the senior-level audience members, Jennifer was the essence of “calm, cool, and collected” in explaining complex graphics and analysis.  Jennifer was able to answer every question with ease and position herself as the data expert, knowing the derivation and formulation of every metric.  She gave clients the confidence in the data that they needed.

And, if that’s not enough, Jennifer has taken responsibility for managing our client engagements for the Revenue Management Application (RMA) and the Segmentation Engine (approaching a combined 100 installs).  She has also figured out a way to track and manage those relationships in Autotask, which is no mean feat!

Jennifer, you are truly a Rock Star!
