MORE ABOUT PAMELA

Where do you work? Where are you from?

I’ve lived a bit of a nomadic life.  I’m originally from upstate New York, but have lived in all parts of the United States including Nebraska, Colorado, Georgia, Ohio, and Washington DC.  I currently work from my home office in Indianapolis Indiana.

What do you do at JCA?

I wear a lot of hats at JCA, but my primary focus is providing support to our thankQ CRM clients.  My day-to-day includes acting as product support, consulting, integration expert, technical documentation writer, and data analyst to help my clients leverage their data in ways that allow them to focus less on maintaining their database, and more on promoting their mission.

What is your background? What brought you to JCA?

My degrees include a focus on logic and critical analysis, and I have worked in some form of data management and analytics role for most of my professional career across multiple industries including logistics, healthcare, and the media.  In 2015, I began working with non-profits, and have not looked back.  I find it personally and professionally satisfying to ‘help the helpers’ and hope to continue to do so for the rest of my career.

What do you do outside of JCA?

When I am not working, I am an artist, crafter, and a writer.  I am an avid Dungeon & Dragons nerd, and love games that encourage cooperative storytelling.  I like to spend time outdoors hiking, foraging, and wildcrafting with my two rescue pups.  I love old black-and-white movies, documentaries, and have way too many houseplants.
