Shari Wakiyama

Shari Wakiyama is an accomplished technology leader with over 25 years of experience in innovation and product management. Known for her expertise in digital transformation and Agile methodologies, she delivers impactful, scalable solutions that align with client needs and organizational goals. Shari has successfully led cross-functional, global teams to design and implement scalable, user-focused products, ensuring lasting value and positive change. Her commitment to leveraging data and technology for good continues to inspire her work.
Shari joined JCA in April of 2025 as the leader of digital products and solutions. Prior to JCA, she held executive positions with nonprofit and for-profit organizations, including Benefits Data Trust, The Wikimedia Foundation, Inmar Intelligence, and M&T Bank, and was a high school mathematics and computer science teacher.
Shari holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, complemented by graduate-level coursework in Computer Science from Villanova University. She also earned an MEd. in Mathematics from DeSales University and a BA in Mathematics and Education from LaSalle University. Additionally, Shari has completed executive education in Artificial Intelligence at MIT Sloan School of Management and is trained as a Scrum Master.
Outside of JCA, Shari enjoys exploring the latest technology and business trends, reading nonfiction, engaging in outdoor activities and athletic pursuits, and learning Japanese culture.
