Jamie Alexander Promoted to Director, JCA Arts Marketing and Joins JCA Leadership Team

June 1, 2021 – JCA (Jacobson Consulting Applications, Inc.), an independent consulting firm dedicated to the technology and information management needs of nonprofits, has promoted a member of its team to a new leadership role. Jamie Alexander has been promoted to Director, JCA Arts Marketing and will join the leadership team beginning immediately. Established in 1988 by CEO Steve Jacobson, the company has grown from a staff of one to a staff of almost 30 and is the go-to nonprofit consulting firm for organizations who are building a brighter future.

Jamie Alexander joined JCA in 2017 as the Marketing Manager and has continued to rise within the organization. In 2019, Jamie was promoted to Senior Manager of JCA Arts Marketing and in January of this year, she was made Associate Director. Jamie has continued to demonstrate strong leadership by developing innovative ways to serve JCA’s clients during a very challenging year. Throughout the pandemic, Jamie pivoted her team to provide timely, relevant content, including a newly created/executed Trends in Digital Audiences study that has gained wide visibility and enhanced JCA’s reputation as experts in the field. She, along with the team at JCA Arts Marketing, have helped our Arts and Culture clients survive and thrive even as they face uncertainty.

Prior to her time at JCA, Jamie worked on the marketing staffs of Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where she specialized in campaign strategy, marketing analytics, audience development, variable and dynamic pricing, accessibility programs, and completed an overhaul of a website and CRM systems.

Jamie leads JCA Arts Marketing in its efforts to increase revenue, boost attendance, and grow patron engagement for arts organizations around the country. Her clients include Arizona Opera, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Oakland Museum of California, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, SFJAZZ, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and Victory Gardens Theater.
