Jamie Alexander to Step Down as Vice President of Growth and Development

Jamie Alexander, who joined the company in 2017, will be stepping down from her role as Vice President of Growth & Development at the end of next week to pursue a graduate degree.
Since joining JCA, Jamie has made an indelible impact—first by shaping the company’s marketing strategy, and then by building and leading JCA Arts Marketing (now JCA Performing Arts), a practice that has become known for its creative thought leadership, data-driven strategic work, and client impact. Her leadership helped JCA deepen its partnerships with arts and culture organizations across North America, including Lyric Opera of Chicago, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and many others.
In early 2025, Jamie was named Vice President of Growth & Development, where she brought the same strategic insight and collaborative spirit to expanding JCA’s client impact across sectors. Throughout her time at the company, Jamie has been a passionate advocate for mission-driven work, data-informed decision making, and authentic client relationships.
“Jamie has been a force for creativity, clarity, and growth at JCA,” said CEO Steve Jacobson. “She’s helped shape who we are and how we serve our clients—and we’re so grateful for her many contributions.”
JCA will be conducting a comprehensive search for a new Vice President of Growth and Development and will provide an update as soon as a suitable candidate is identified.
